Performs semiconductor design engineering duties including design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for developing SoC Functional Verification Test bench. Assist in the development of verifications plans to meet the specifications and enhance product needs. Drive tasks for communication and networking subsystem/SOC verification for various automotive needs like functional, performance, safety, security, BIST, clocking, reset, and low power. Collaboration with other design functions (FE, BE, DFT) to incubate innovation ideas for patents and paper publications with architecture, design and methodology initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

Ten (10) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, Engineer, ASIC Design & Verification Engineer, SMTS Systems Design Engineer or related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following special skills:

SoC Design; Verilog and System Verilog; Verification skills utilizing UVM (Universal Verification Methodology); Verification Planning and Execution for an SoC; and Architecture enhancements for next generation SoCs.
