To direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate the programs and activities of the Traffic Engineering and Street Lighting Divisions within the Public Works Department; to coordinate assigned activities with other City departments, divisions and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Manager of Traffic Engineering and the Public Works Director.

SUPERVISION

General supervision is provided by the Manager of Traffic Engineering. Responsible for supervision of the Traffic support staff, as authorized by the Manager of Traffic Engineering. EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil or traffic engineering or other field related to transportation. EXPERIENCE

5 years of increasingly responsible experience as a registered professional engineer. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES

Possession of a valid driver's license. Possession of a Texas Professional Engineering License issued by the state Board of Registration for Professional Engineers

or obtain a Texas Professional Engineering License within six months of employment. WORK SCHEDULE Tuesday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Off every Monday
