Our client, a large government contractor with offices in Greene County, OH, is in need of a TS/SCI Cleared DevOps Engineer to work onsite for a 6-month contract to hire position. The DevOps Engineer will be supporting our client's multiyear contract focused on optimizing the analysis of data for defense agencies to make faster/better informed decisions. The DevOps Engineer will be focused on working with a number of development teams to help set up pipelines and get their applications onto the pipelines. The applications are written in a number of coding languages, so it is important that the DevOps Engineer has some full stack development experience to work with the various development teams.
Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution with 2 years' experience OR a master's degree with 0 years' experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 6 years' experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance is required.
  • Experience with containerization, specifically Docker and Podman.
  • Demonstrated experience building out DevOps pipelines with GitLab Runners
  • Prior experience with Kubernetes Orchestration, Kubectl, Kustomize, Helm
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Demonstrated experience with front end frameworks such as Angular and React
  • Experience with backend development with Java.
  • Prior experience with Relational, Graph, or Document Database
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Past experience developing microservices using the Spring Framework
  • Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDE) Git or Bitbucket
