Business Development Lead

Are you passionate about making a tangible impact on the environment? Do you have a knack for building relationships and driving sales in emerging markets? If so, you could be a good fit for our client's team to help revolutionize the way they approach reforestation and conservation projects.

They are a forward-thinking organization dedicated to helping NGOs, governments, land stewards, and companies register and finance their reforestation and conservation carbon projects. Leveraging state-of-the-art scientific predictive analytics, they automate and streamline every stage of carbon project development. Their ultimate goal is to scale these efforts globally to address the pressing ecological and climate challenges of our time.

As the Business Development Lead, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to scale their tech-enabled carbon project services. You'll lead the charge in generating new business opportunities and managing the entire sales process from initial contact to contract closing.

What You'll Do:

Drive Sales:

Lead outbound sales efforts to connect with clients seeking carbon development services through cold calling, emailing, and networking. Collaborate:

Work closely with a high-caliber team on all phases of the project cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Manage Relationships:

Use your network of contacts to drive early partnership opportunities and maintain customer relationships. Track Progress:

Keep detailed records of customer interactions in Hubspot CRM. Promote:

Participate in networking and marketing activities via LinkedIn, webinars, events, and conferences.

What We're Looking For:

3-5+ years of experience in the carbon market as a credit buyer, investor, developer, regulator, trader, or founder. Sales Savvy:

Proven experience in outbound sales in emerging markets and developing business opportunities with corporate, government, and NGO partners. Networking Skills:

Strong industry connections and a track record of building relationships with corporate, NGO, and government customers. Motivation:

A self-starter with the ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and drive projects forward. Communication:

Excellent communication skills to convey the value of our services to potential clients.

Salary:

$120-180k
