As the Poultry Feed Sales Representative for Perdue Animal Nutrition, you will be responsible for sales and sales growth to our poultry customers within the assigned territory.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the poultry industry to pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Work cohesively with poultry formulation to meet market demand.
  • Provide quotes to customers weekly.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives within the designated territory.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's products.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in poultry sciences, agriculture, agribusiness, animal nutrition, food science, veterinary science, or business.

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous sales and territory management experience in the poultry industry.
  • Proven experience in sales and preferably in agriculture and/or poultry feed sales.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong math, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to self-motivated, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Valid state drivers license.

Experience Preferred

  • Prior knowledge and experience in sales and/or marketing with the poultry industry preferred.
