Client Overview:

Our client is a large scale and rapidly growing organization that is looking to add a Collections Specialist to help grow their accounting team. They are seeking candidates with a background of 2-4 years of applicable experience and that are analytically driven.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22 - $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collection all the outstanding accounts receivables from clients and customers. The Collections Specialist may also be responsible for the other aspects of collections, such as analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of account and client utilizing credit risk management tools. This role research account disputes and billing discrepancies while responding to credit inquiries from internal and external clients.

Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:

  • Assisting customers with inquiries
  • Reconciling customer account as needed
  • Creating and maintain credit history files
  • Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
  • Supporting the collection efforts and calls for accounts receivable portfolio
  • Forecast cash collection and report to management on AR status
Qualifications for the Collections Specialist:
  • Minimum of 2 years of collection experience is required
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot tables and V-Lookups)
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Detail oriented and strong work ethic
Education Requirements:
  • None required (Collections Experience a must)
