You will provide technical direction over a group (2-15 depending on project), coaching and professional development of lower-level engineering and design professionals. Responsibilities Technical content on construction released structural drawings for structural steel and concrete Preparing structural calculations for structural steel and concrete Conceptual and final foundation design including spread footings, piles, and drilled shafts Preparing construction specifications Providing technical support during construction for all structural activities Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering Professional Engineer License (PE), or ability to obtain one within 6 months of start of employment 12+ years of experience in structural engineering Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to lead a small to medium team to deliver on commitments Virtual team skills to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.
