Client Service Reinsurance Senior Accounting Advocate Opportunity at Aon

What the day will look like

In this role, you will work closely with the Aon sales team to provide world class customer experience and be part of a best-in-class reinsurance client services team. You will manage and oversee all reinsurance premium and pro-rata accounting activities for assigned clients, including Fortune 500 companies. You will oversee and manage premium in excess of $50M on behalf of assigned clients, and be part of a team that manages over $20B in ceded reserves each year. With the assistance of dedicated mentors you will build and implement your individual career development plan.

The primary responsibilities for this experienced reinsurance accounting position are listed below.

+ Ensure premium/pro-rata reports and settlements are timely and accurate, in accordance with contract terms

+ Assist clients with contractual requirements and help them navigate complex accounting issues

+ Serve as a subject matter expert and/or thought leader in reinsurance accounting

+ Lead or assist in project planning, strategic management and development of staff in core areas of expertise

+ Provide input and feedback for system design and testing

Skills and experience that will lead to success

+ Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Math or similar degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.

+ 3+ years of insurance or reinsurance experience in an accounting, premium, claims, or broker client servicing role.

+ Successful completion of Aons technical training program or equivalent

+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of products, with Excel emphasis

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)

+ Ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong attention to detail.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position is $68,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
