Day to Day

An employer sitting in Monterey Park, CA is looking to hire a hybrid Project Specialist. This person will be supporting the Control Center Modernization (CCM) effort, which is the project to construct a new modernized Gas Control Facility. This specific Project Specialist will be supporting the team that is working to provide enhancements at the regular stations. The CCM project will integrate data from 2100+ Electronic Pressure Monitors (EPM) and 4,000+ meters for both core and non-core into Gas Control. This Project Specialist will be helping to assist in business process design discussions, working with various stakeholders, and attending strategy meetings. In order for the Gas Control Facility to meet the goals of increasing data points from field assets, this Project Specialist will be working alongside the CCM Operations Technology (OT) team to help ensure effective reporting and tracking through spreadsheets and other systems. This effort will involve expanding of the OT network, adding hardware to store and process new field asset data, and the implementation of tools to govern and analyze field asset data through new visualization platforms. This will be a full time effort, M-Friday, requiring Wednesday - Friday in office days.

Must Haves:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Project Specialist or Project Administrator
  • Understanding of Project Timelines, Deliverables, and Project Tracking
  • Previous Gas or Utility related Project experience
  • Experience coordinating meetings, communicating to different stakeholders
  • Utilizing Excel for reporting

Benefits and Compensation:

$35-55/hour - Potential Flexibility on Rate

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
