*Patient Care Coordinator * Part-time Long Beach, New York *Overview:* * Hours: Monday: 12-8, Tuesday: 12-8, Thursday: 9-5 = 22 Hours per week * Contract (potential to extension) * Pay $22/hr * Benefits offered *Job Opportunity:* * *Opportunity*–The chance to work for the leading information and technology-enabled health services business * *Exposure to Leadership*– Working alongside supervisor, and department manager to meet expected goals * *Work/Life Balance –*part-time hours to provide flexibility *Qualifications:* * Medical administration experience * Patient scheduling preferred * EPIC knowledge *Job Duties:* * Answer phones and schedule patient appointments. * Collect and verify patient demographic information, insurance eligibility. * Check out patients and schedule follow-up appointments. * Scan necessary medical documents * Call follow-up with patient to include rescheduling appointments that were cancelled, and no-shows. * Collect copays and past balances.
