Role Overview: We’re looking to hire an individual who owns the strategy, leads execution, and serves as a bridge between business and technology for all of our internal systems. In this role, you will own the entire product lifecycle for our internal systems and processes, including a custom-developed (.Net/Webforms) business management application and its interfaces to various third-party systems, including SAGE 300, HubSpot, and Paychex.

You’ll be an active leader working to balance business needs between finance, operations, and technology teams and partner with the executive leadership team and department leads to define product requirements, prioritize the company’s internal systems backlog, and drive successful delivery.

Responsibilities: -Developing a strong understanding of InProduction’s business and its fundamental needs from processes and systems -Partnering with stakeholders to shape the internal systems product roadmap, inform priorities, and plan work to improve efficiency and aid team members in their job -Finding workable solutions to current process and system limitations -Creating product requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing plans -Crafting customer and internal UX through wireframing and/or mockups -Shepherding the transition to an Agile development approach -Attending Agile ceremonies, including standups, backlog grooming, work planning, production releases, and demos to represent your products through the development lifecycle -Working closely with the technology team to facilitate the delivery of product initiatives -Leading internal user acceptance testing -Creating release notes, release comms, and training materials where needed -Designing product and performance KPIs and working cross-functionally to build out business analytics -Monitoring product engagement and adoption with a focus on reducing out-of-process and system work

Competencies / Attributes – Required: -7+ years of experience in internal applications and process product management -Experience leading cross-functional teams, including balancing the needs of technology and business resources -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Exceptional process and project management skills -Experience leading an Agile transformation. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools -Strong desire to represent our employees’ needs in the internal systems product management process

Competencies / Attributes – Nice to Have: -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, business, computer science) Interest and a working knowledge of business process improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies -Experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to inform growth strategy, roadmap, and prioritization -Practical experience with solutions written in .Net, WebForms, PowerBI, Sage 100/300, -NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, HubSpot, Angular, and/or React
