Position Type: Part Time
Education Level: High School diploma and or GED preferred; preferably with one to three months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of both education and experience. A valid driver's license is required and a clean background check. A CDL may be required based on position.

SUMMARY: Provides safe transportation for the clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Turns in Gas Credit slips and Medicaid Transportation forms daily.
  • Ensures the bus is washed, according to monthly schedule.
  • Immediately reports all transportation related incidents to Supervisor.
  • Attends weekly staff meeting.
  • Responsible for providing safe transportation.
  • Follows FCC and FPS policies and procedures.
  • Assists with taking clients to their classrooms.
  • Completes all required training in a timely manner.
  • Assists in delivering/picking up vehicles at shop.
  • Completes Work Orders on vehicle maintenance requests and other problems.
  • Keeps updated bus route directions in bus at all times.
  • Ensures Daily Bus Roster is turned in.
  • Checks bus at end of morning/afternoon routes to ensure no child remains on bus.
  • Completes Pre-Trip Inspections and maintains in file for review.
  • Maintains current and valid AR Drivers License at all times and ensure the HR Department has a copy of this for their files.

Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., Senior Center programs, and clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPPA Policies.

  • Consumers progress notes be maintained and completed daily or as needed on the prescribed forms.
  • Consumers records must be maintained weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. All information must be filed in consumers records as needed and updated as prescribed by funding sources.
