Senior FPGA Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design, test, and integrate complex, high-speed FPGAs (primarily Xilinx). Develop architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments. Design and support top-level system simulations. Fully document design details and conduct design reviews prior to implementation. Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers in a fast-paced development team during test and integration phases. Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures. Develop FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.). Support systems integration and test engineering to produce functional designs. Implement and contribute to the architecture of current and next-generation multi-megapixel camera systems, interfacing with Camera Link and SpaceWire standards. Design systems capable of handling imager data and image processing (Embedded Camera Development). Create and document test plans to ensure integrated performance meets specifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, test, and integration of complex, high-speed FPGAs. Proficiency with lab equipment. Ability to read, understand, and review schematic drawings. Experience with technical documentation. Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
