We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Engineer to join our New Shepard Avionics team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance avionics' hardware for various flight vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop FPGA architecture, design, verification, and qualification for New Shepard Avionics systems
- Implement HDL designs using Verilog / System Verilog / VHDL
- Author technical documentation for complex electronics
- Familiarity with DO-178, DO-254 and/or other development assurance guidelines
- Experience with launch vehicle Avionics systems
- Experience / exposure to IBM DOORS for requirements management
- B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of proven experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)/ASIC design, and FPGA tool flow in a Linux environment
- Experience designing and developing high-performance FPGA solutions for use in highly integrated (SW and HW) systems
- Full Product Life Cycle development experience - from requirements development through final release
- Experience with Modelsim, or Questasim simulators and Synopsys tools for design. Vendors: Microchip, Xilinx (AMD), Altera (Intel)
