Project Administrator/Accountant

Position Objective
The Project Administrator provides the critical administrative and accounting support necessary to execute a successful project.
Essential Job Functions
Set up initial budget entry and project maintenance in ComputerEase and Procore
Issue, track, and collect subcontractor contracts and purchase agreements
Request proper subcontractor insurance certificates
Assist project team with creating and submitting owner billings
Invoice entry, routing, and review of approved/rejected accounts payable invoices
Issue payments to subcontractors; track and collect required payment documents
Collect and track subcontractor change orders
Create and maintain new vendor profiles in the accounting system, including W9 certificates
Research and assist subcontractor and vendor issues
Reconcile vendor statements
Collect and compile project closeout documents
Follow up with clients on past-due monthly draws
Performs other miscellaneous tasks or assignments as necessary for project success
Basic Qualifications
Minimum one year of accounting experience
Ability to work in an open office environment
Proficient in navigating Gmail, Word, and Excel
Experience with ComputerEase and Procore software preferred
General knowledge and understanding of construction documents is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrates strong initiative and is able to accomplish tasks with minimal manager supervision
Utilizes a professional and engaging demeanor with coworkers, external partners, and clients
Shows excellent communication skills, both in writing and face-to-face
Maintains composure and professionalism in difficult situations and effectively resolves conflicts without escalating tension
Embraces technology and is able to use it in ways that improve the experience of Centric associates and clients
