Position Description:
Manage Infrastructure Improvement projects in the Transportation Core Service Area.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years (PM I) / 10 years (PM II) and 20 years (PM III) of project management and concurrent field construction experience.
Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Work experience in project planning and development.
Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience
managing/designing/constructing
roadway and bridge infrastructure
Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery.
Design-Bid-Build project delivery.
Deferred
Maintenance/Refurbishment
projects.
Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project including planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out.
Ability to develop and control project scope.
Ability to develop and maintain project budgets.
Ability to develop and review project schedules.
Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.
Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.
Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.
Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
Ability to set and manage project expectations.

PMCS supports entities such as QTS Data Centers, Vantage Data Centers, Cologix Data Centers, Intel, Lam Research, Samsung, TSMC, and others.
PMCS Group’s project portfolio also includes numerous public facility projects, such as the Port of Long Beach Fireboat Station 20 project, major water resource projects, including the City of LA / LAWA Argo Drain Sub-Basin Facility Project, and major educational projects, like the California State University Long Beach Parkside North Housing Residence Project. We bring extensive transportation and infrastructure project experience, including our work as a joint venture partner on LACMTA’s Purple Line Project and our work on LA County Department of Public Works’ Santa Anita dam.
