Job Description - Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Contracting in the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), the Senior Contracting Specialist will work with investigators, clinical trial coordinators, foundation and industry sponsors, and contract research organizations to negotiate clinical research agreements in accordance with institutional policies.

- This role involves providing orientation, training, and mentoring to CTO clinical research agreement associates, conducting and coordinating peer-review and quality assurance activities within CTO, and facilitating interactions with CTO and the Technology Ventures Office (TVO) and the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) regarding issues and agreements that overlap with CTO expertise.

Hard Skills - 1-3 years related work experience with industry sponsored contracts

- Preferred pre-award and post-award management of grants and contracts

- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications

Soft Skills - Ability to work with a varied caseload with minimal supervision

- Strong judgment and ability to apply legal principles and Medical Center policies to specific legal issues

- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team

- Strong organization and time management skills

- Ability to multi-task while remaining detail-oriented in a highly time-sensitive environment

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Job Type - This is a permanent position.

Work Environment - 100% Remote but you must reside in MA, NH, RI, CT, or VT
