We are seeking a Payables Specialist II s objective is to support the Finance department leadership in ensuring financial control management. This is a mid-level position with increased responsibility in accounts payable functions.RESPONSIBILITIES:? GENERALEmploy time management in balancing all work dutiesAdhere to all company policies and procedures, i.E., attendance, dress code and professionalismDemonstrate discipline to follow all active processes to ensure standardizationDemonstrate accuracy, dependability and consistency with work assignments and expectationsAbility to perform work safelyOther job duties as required? ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGEMENTSorting, opening and scanning mailProcess invoices and billsMaintain vendor relationsSet up new vendorsPrepare aging reports? BANK ACCOUNT/CREDIT CARD MANAGEMENTDownload transactionsEnter description of each transactionCheck each transaction against company policyFollow up with employees for missing expense reportsMonitor accountsRecord any transfer of funds? TRAVEL MANAGEMENTTrack travel for employeesResearch and book flights and hotels for best ratesReserve rental carsMake changes to flights, hotels and cars? ADMINISTRATIVEReview check requestsProcess checks and money ordersCreate and maintain processes and spreadsheetsQualifications:Associate s degree in a related field preferred but not required1-3 years accounting experience preferredPrevious experience with Accounts Payable and invoice processing
