This includes completing training and mastering the functionalities of the new budgeting system, participating in system testing and implementation, sharing knowledge with the dean’s finance team and our departments, developing supplemental training materials or user guides, and providing training and support to our departments. This role also involves supporting various financial functions and activities for the dean's office, requiring expert financial knowledge, sound financial judgment, and thorough application of internal policies, procedures, and systems. Responsibilities include financial transaction review and submission, reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst works independently and collaboratively with the dean’s office finance team, many departments within the Vice Provost and Dean of Research, and the Budget System program team.
