OVERVIEW
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Project Manager that will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO). Projects will involve coordination and management for systems, networks, hardware, and technical support projects. The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that the IT infrastructure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for IT infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with the PMO to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project management best practices.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Design and implement templates for project documentation and reporting.
Develop and maintain systems for efficient project management and tracking.
Ensure all designs meet industry standards and organizational requirements.
Lead technical support projects, including software and hardware upgrades and migrations.
Coordinate with IT support teams to ensure smooth project implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure projects.
Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies.
Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
Proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Experience in financial services, banking, or branch management is preferred.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
