Description
SUMMARY
Manage all aspects of the warranty segment, including receiving, processing, and editing warranty claims, and resolving disputes with dealers and customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive and process warranty and contract claim requests.
- Review online claims and enter credits into the system.
- Notify dealers of missing information or errors in claims and send out notifications.
- Answer questions from dealers and contractors about warranties and extended contracts.
- Assist customers, city desk staff, and warehouse staff with processing large compressor returns.
- Ensure a high level of service for all customers, including dealers and end-users.
- Assist Technical Support staff with disputed claims and service concessions.
- Assist accounts payable weekly by matching Carrier warranty credits with PORM numbers to ensure correct credit issuance.
- Handle contract processing, including receiving, editing, coding, and entering information into the appropriate system.
- Review vendor warranty claims weekly and contact manufacturers or their representatives for resolution if necessary.
- Participate in continuous learning and development through training initiatives such as MN Air University, HR programs, tech-support courses, and webinars.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt to various software programs.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Six months to one year of related experience or training.
