Description

  • This position is responsible to handle a variety of HR responsibilities which will include aspects of background checks, onboarding, employee data management, and special projects, as well as assist in development of the HR department as the organization continues to grow.

Major Responsibilities / Activities
  • Assist in the completion of applicant and employee initial and ongoing background checks as required by the Department of Children Service (DCS).
  • Assess background check results to determine employment eligibility
  • Creation of ID badges for employees
  • Correct and timely entering of employee data and documents into the company's HRIS
  • inputting new employee's data into the company's Driver Safety Program application
  • Completion of special projects needed for the HR department
  • Execute job responsibilities consistent with Lasting Change's Tenets of Culture, mission, vision, and beliefs, while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of Lasting Change.
  • Respect, support, and integrate Lasting Change's Tenets of Culture.
  • Offer insight and input to strengthen Lasting Change's performance and quality of services and to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as requested.
Physical and Visual Acuity Requirements

The physical requirement of this position as Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

The visual acuity requirements needed to perform this position include having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and reading.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic Human Resources principles
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
