Position Summary:

Aldevra is a small but fast-growing federal government contractor seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Support Specialist to assist across various departments as workloads fluctuate throughout the year. As a Support Specialist who is versatile, you'll be a "Swiss Army knife," helping out wherever needed and contributing to the smooth functioning of our team. This is an in-office position located at our corporate office in Kalamazoo, MI. We will provide training, but the ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the sales team with managing incoming customer inquiries and preparing files for quotes.
  • Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) databases, ensuring accurate and current customer information.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on sales reports, expense reimbursements, and billing.
  • Support special projects and other tasks as directed by the Department Manager or other leaders.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and maintain a customer-focused work ethic while ensuring data accuracy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role
  • Familiarity with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) databases
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail and team-oriented work ethic
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and cloud systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • QuickBooks and/or NetSuite experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
