This position will be a temporary for approx. 2 weeks paying $17- $22/ hour.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic, financial and insurance information
  • Obtains new medical record numbers
  • Enters all patient information into the registration system
  • Greets all guest with a positive and professional attitude
  • Completes financial evaluation forms
  • Maintains a list of health care financial assistance programs
  • Sorts and files various documents including patient records
  • Gathers appropriate identification for patient and confirms all patient demographics
  • Registering patients at check-in and check out
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Answering phones and returning voicemails to patients
  • Collecting co-pays and any outstanding balances
  • Contacting patients for appointment reminders
