LHH Recruitment solutions is seeking a highly motivated Business Data Analyst for a contract-to-hire role with a manufacturing client of ours in Rancho Cucamonga. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, with a focus on SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.

The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with various business units to gather and analyze data, provide insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively is crucial for success in this role.

**This is a hybrid position, working 3 days per week in their Rancho Cucamonga location.**

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using T-SQL, PL SQL, and Oracle to extract meaningful insights
  • Perform heavy lifting on SQL queries to manipulate and transform data for reporting purposes

Visualization and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI/Tableau for effective data visualization.
  • Create interactive and user-friendly visualizations to communicate complex data sets.

Cloud Platform Expertise:

  • Utilize hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Azure.
  • Work with Azure Data Factory for ETL processes and ensure smooth data flow within the cloud environment.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various business units to understand their data needs.
  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of data analytics processes within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or subsequent years off professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
  • Proficient in T-SQL and PL SQL, with preference given to those with Oracle experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, MicroStrategy, PowerBI/Tableau is essential
  • Hands-on experience with any cloud platform is a must, with a preference for Azure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
