As a Quality Lead, you will work directly with the Quality Assurance Manager and your team to ensure that only the finest products are shipped. Responsibilities include conducting quality inspections, resolving quality issues, investigating root causes, training team members, and managing documentation. You will also learn all quality team functions to provide support during breaks or absences. This position is a night shift role. What you will be doing... Ensure QA department team performs and verifies food safety, sanitation, and quality programs. Lead the QA team. Provide floor support for audit preparation. Act as a back-up to hourly QA team members. Manage daily inventory shortages to meet customer demand. Oversight and verification of food safety & quality programs: Manage traceability including mock recalls. Oversee daily QA paperwork management. Handle lab ingredient inventory management and batching processes. Manage expired and obsolete product processes. Implement CCPs and PRPs on the floor. Conduct CAPA floor implementation and root cause analysis. Train QA department staff. Review daily PCQI records and audits. Act as the first line of contact for plant FSQA procedures. Provide floor support during audits. Manage consumable inventory for FSQA tasks. Report directly to the QA Manager. Complete other tasks as assigned. Do you have what it takes? Basic Qualifications: Experience using the MS Office Suite. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Plant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years in a plant involved with quality and/or food safety tasks. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. HACCP and PCQI Certifications. Sanitation experience. SAP/CRM experience. Results-driven with good interpersonal skills. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Activity: Some tasks require standing for long periods or lifting up to 50 lbs. Temperature: Climate-controlled environment. Smell: Enjoy sweet aromas during your shifts.
