What You’ll Do
Work with Engineers tofabricate, assemble, and integrate mobile robot prototypes, includingmechanical assemblies, electrical systems, wire harnesses, etc.
Develop test plans and testsystems, including building of assembly jigs and test/validation systems
Collaborate with Engineeringteams to root cause and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Provide detailed written& verbal test status updates to key stakeholders
Provide daily bot inspectionsand shift pass down reports to key stakeholders
Maintain a clean andorganized lab, ensuring that it is well-stocked with the tools,components, and materials needed to sustain bot
Supporting bench-topelectrical system builds and testing, including obtaining and tracking
Support low volume prototypepart builds and testing, including development of SOP, training modules, and Repair forServiceability
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience as anEngineering Technician in fields of: Robotics, Automotive Service,Precision Medical Devices, R&D, and Manufacturing
Collaborate with Engineeringteams to root cause and resolve mechanical hardware, electrical, softwareissues and provide detailed written & verbal test status updates tokey stakeholders
Previous hands-on experiencewith hand and power tools, high & low voltage systems, wire harnessesassembly and repair, mechanical components, electro-mechanical devices,soldering irons, wire crimping tools, DMM multi-meters, and oscilloscopes
Able to interpret drawingsand 3D CAD, and able to read Mechanical & Electrical drawingdiagram-schematics; harness drawings and create a harness from scratch. Experience in CAD (ex. CATIA, SolidWorks) and/or electrical design(ex. Altium), fabrication /machining, 3D printing, and laser cuttingequipment are preferred but not required
Understanding and creatingwork instructions SOP for service repair, installation, part rework,various tools, hardware components and test equipment
Analytical problem solvingskills & FA root cause analysis, troubleshooting and detailed labreporting
Experience in manufacturingor factory line operations & EOL Technician a plus
Must be able to usespreadsheet tools (ex. Microsoft Office) and Project Management Software: JIRA. Python knowledge a plus
Must be able lift 37lbs., beable to climb ladders and work in 24/7 shifts coverage
Must be able to work withinBay Area sites with occasional travel

Expected Compensation
$24.40 - $65.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
