Overview TRC is seeking a Construction Manager to work on our customer projects in the Mid-Atlantic. As a Construction Manager, you lead, monitor, and administrate assigned construction projects. Working on behalf of TRC, your knowledge of safety protocols, understanding of budgetary requirements, and ability to coordinate scheduling priorities, allows you to meet projects deadlines while maintaining operational, design, and safety criteria. You support our client through the planning and delivery of the execution phase of projects and are responsible for the effective planning, and execution of capital projects. Responsibilities Lead the project team by attending meetings and working collaboratively on construction planning and coordination. Ensure safe work practices, quality assurance, and quality control of contractors work in accordance with contract specification and Safety Codes, OHS, Environment, etc. Monitor the construction of all projects for schedule changes and track progress daily, identifying any issues that could delay the schedule; provide advice on course of action to maintain the schedule within authority levels or escalate to quickly address. Monitor and audit construction and materials management documentation to ensure that the facilities are being constructed to meet the quality specifications in the contract. Review and approve Contractor procedures for adherence to established safe practices. Collaborate with the Construction Management Team and contractors to improve current construction standards, practices, and procedures for future decision making. Provide daily direction to Construction resources to ensure that procedures, Quality Assurance and inspection programs are being adhered to. Act as a liaison with the construction management team, various work groups, and communicate with other department groups regarding project scope, scheduling, and other project related information. Establish good working relationships with multi-disciplinary project team members, contractors, and any others that influence the quality, schedule, and cost of projects. Manage interface with Contractors during construction including supervision and ensure that all Construction deliverables including construction is completed in accordance with Design and Contract packages. Ensure Safety on Job site, Material tracking, crew competencies and Construction Progress on all Job sites. Perform major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned. Follow all policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5 years- experience as Journeyman or higher positions as Lineman or Wireman. Experience implementing Transmission related work in transmission lines, substations and system control centers. Active OSHA 30. Previous experience interpreting and applying construction contract terms and conditions. Ability to understand - interpret engineering, architectural and other construction drawings. Experience with engineering discipline reviews and preparation of construction work packages, construction scheduling, work plans, outage planning. Valid, unencumbered Driver-s license for travel throughout LUMA region Experience working with all MS Office products including MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Highly Qualified Candidates will demonstrate: Additional construction safety certifications and/or training Excellent, organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Team player with ability to prioritize assignments to meet customer needs. Familiarity with relevant legislation (i.e. Safety Codes (AEUC), OHS, Environmental, and all applicable Puerto Rico electrical and building codes.) Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year). All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
