The Role: In this role, the Enterprise Sales Director will be a highly driven, passionate, and experienced sales professional who is motivated by our mission-driven industry and the value KidKare provides in helping our customers better manage their business. The candidate should have extensive experience working with entitlement programs, education, CACFP, and/or childcare spaces. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the aptitude to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. The candidate will have a proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex industry initiatives to meet business and sales objectives, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data, and metrics bias. A thorough understanding of childcare and child nutrition industries and a passion for helping state and enterprise customers transform their technological solutions are huge pluses.

The ideal candidate for this position will need: drive, tenacity, creativity, curiosity, and the desire to build relationships and solve complex challenges. This role entails being an independent contributor with a primary focus on achieving and surpassing individual revenue targets - you will not manage a sales team in this role as of now. Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, the Enterprise Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through their own efforts and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

New Business Development

Drivenew enterprise and state business by cultivating and generating new business leads, positioning our SaaS solution, delivering precise sales projections, negotiating terms, and securing deals

Spearhead the entire sales process from prospecting to contract finalization, pricing strategies, and closure for all product lines, collaborating closely with prospects and internal teams at KidKare.

Foster strong relationships with customers and prospects by building trust and confidence at multiple levels within and across multiple organizations.

Gain comprehensive knowledge of KidKare’s products, services, and the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) to effectively articulate our value proposition. Take charge of CACFP regulations and compliance, ensuring informed discussions with prospects abouttheir business challenges and requirements.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and generate referrals.

Work with the finance team to develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines, while also cultivating a collaborative relationship between Sales and Marketing to enhance demand generation and lead quality.

Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within CRM.

Maintain and leverage quality data and analytics to generate actionable reports and forecasts to make informed decisions, optimize account performance, and track results.

Travel for in-person meetings with prospects, customers, and partners to develop key relationships. Attending trade shows, industry, and customer events as necessary.

Government Relations

Identify, research, and build new business relationships with State Agencies.

Develop presentations and proposals that communicate the value of our products in alignment with each unique prospect’s needs and objectives and represent the face of KidKare at industry conferences.

Outline scope of implementation and customer needs post-sale.

Build a robust and well documented framework for repeatable state sales.

Develop, improve, and execute comprehensive account plans and strategies and practices that align with client objectives to ensure best-in-class relationship management, driving account penetration and revenue growth/margin across National Accounts.

Establish both a short and long-term revenue growth strategy and ensure alignment between revenue growth and the organization’s broader strategic focus.

Experience/Skills:

10+ years of SaaS software sales experience – specifically focused on relationship and consultative sales.

5+ years experience directly selling enterprise and/or government sales and experience driving procurement & RFP processes.

Knowledge of CACFP nutritional standards is a significant advantage

Prior experience using Hubspot CRM strongly preferred

Demonstrated track record as a sales "hunter" with the capability to drive strategic enterprise sales exceeding $1M in revenue.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills - ability to speak fluently to senior executives, salespeople, and product managers.

Extensive ability to navigate government relations and procurement process.

Strong empathy for customers.

Demonstrated curiosity which drives the desire for continuous learning and improvement.

Proficiency working collaboratively with peers and executive team to create a resultsdriven, team-oriented environment.

Experience creating and delivering presentations conveying germane value propositions.

Willingness to travel up to 20-35% of the time
