IT/EMR Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT/EMR Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and EMR optimizations within our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will possess PMI certification and Lean Six Sigma experience, ensuring efficient and effective project management practices. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, project management expertise, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
•Portfolio Management: Manage the identification, selection, and prioritization of IT and EMR projects and process improvement initiatives.
•Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor project performance, track progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet project objectives. Provide regular updates to senior management. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
•Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, administrators, and IT teams, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
•Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining compliance with industry best practices.
•Documentation: Maintain comprehensive portfolio and project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

- Minimal physical effort required with occasional light lifting to a maximum of 25 pounds; stooping; and pick, pinch, type, or otherwise work primarily with fingers
- Ability to effectively manage considerable mental stress
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and convey information in a clear, concise and accurate manner
- Familiarity with computer and other business machines
Organizational Expectations

- Completes all required annual education on or before the due date
