Were Operationsinc (A Gallagher Company), one of the largest Human Resources Consulting firms in the U.S., headquartered in Norwalk, CT. We provide a wide range of HR consulting solutions to our base of clients nationwide and are considered subject matter experts in all areas of Human Resource Management. We are seeking an HR Coordinator to provide HR support to our various clients. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate interested in broadening their HR experience and will afford the right individual the opportunity to gain a wide range of training and exposure across the core areas of our business.

How you'll make an impact:

The resource we are seeking will handle the following tasks:

  • Audit and maintain employee files to ensure federal and state compliance
  • Handle benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and reconciling invoices for payment
  • Monitor and track Paid Time Off for employees
  • Administer and track federal, state, and local leave of absence programs
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and process paperwork for new employees
  • Process termination paperwork for departing employees
  • Assist with client HR audit and assessment projects as needed
  • Assist in coordinating and processing client payroll
  • Provide support to HR Consulting and Payroll teams
  • Other projects as assigned
About you:

Required: High school diploma and 2 years experience required.

Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in related field

  • Human Resources or related experience a plus
  • Resourceful, detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to communicate successfully with clients and co-workers
  • Flexibility and the ability to multi-task
  • Basic knowledge and comprehension of Employment laws or HR related policies
