Overview:

Come Grow With Us Pyramid Global Hospitality is an industry leading and growing global hotel management company. We are seeking a Director Of Operations to grow along with our company, and to be a part of the culture that puts its people first

We are looking for someone with a strong background in hotel leadership to assist the General Manager in the overall management responsibility of daily hotel operations including associate relations, guest service, profitability, product quality, and compliance to coporate and francise standards.

Qualifications:

Responsiblities include:

  • Oversight of all aspects of property management in line with company and francise values, policies and procedures, as well as approved annual budget, marketing plan, capital expenditure plan and wages
  • Maintaining maximization of financial performance, as well as, guest and associate satisfaction
  • Practice cost controls to include labor through proper training, scheduling and labor oversight
  • Ensure department adherence to standard operating procedures, as well as, compliance with local, state and national regulatory agency requirements
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting as relates to hotel operations and assist with driving creative problem solving and solutions for areas of opportunity
  • Serve as a champion of company and property culture and help drive culture initiatives
  • Serve as a partner to department leadership anayzing obstacles and developing creative solutions for areas of opportunity
  • Manage franchise brand requirements and serve as an ambassador of brand knowledge and needs for the property
  • Help generate new and repeat business in partnership with the sales team
  • Guide the hotel in a positive direction understanding both the diverse workforce and the need for proactive requirement of qualified candidates to join the team
  • Commitment to service and providing the highest quality experieince to all of our guests

A successful Director of Operations will have previous hotel leadership and operations experience with vast knowledge in hotel accounting, maintenance and repair, cleaning, associate performance management, sales and marketing for rooms, front office policies and procedures, hotel safety and security and food and beverage management.

Post high-school coursework in hotel administration/hospitality industry acquired through accredited college or business school, seminar and workshop attendance highly desirable. 2-5 years previous supervisory experience at a similar size and type of hotel required.
