This position is a wonderful opportunity for an emerging nonprofit leader in the social services sector to gain marketable skills. Anyone who desires to eventually become a boots-on-the-ground chief operating officer, chief development officer, or chief executive officer will find this job incredibly rewarding. The position bridges all three sides of our nonprofit - the programmatic side, the fundraising/community engagement side, and the administrative side - and the ideal candidate will be interested in learning and growing in all three areas. On the programmatic side, you will be responsible for building a client-focused, empowering space where survivors of domestic violence will "shop" with dignity for the clothing and household goods they need. On the fundraising/community engagement side, you will build relationships with donors who enjoy giving "stuff" to The Spring and build a world-class volunteer experience for members of our community. On the administrative side, you will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Program Officer and Chief Executive Officer to make sure this outward-facing program of The Spring is meeting the inward-facing needs of those we serve, while also being a good steward of our precious agency resources. You will also work closely with the other program directors to ensure the smooth distribution of goods throughout the agency. This role also offers experience in building management, as well as team management in the form of staff and volunteer supervision and coordination. The position demands strategic thinking, diplomacy, attention to detail, physical effort, and a joyful approach to working with others, and it can offer a steppingstone to even greater responsibility in your future
