This position is a wonderful opportunity for an emerging nonprofit leader in the social services sector to gain marketable skills. Anyone who desires to eventually become a boots-on-the-ground chief operating officer, chief development officer, or chief executive officer will find this job incredibly rewarding. The position bridges all three sides of our nonprofit - the programmatic side, the fundraising/community engagement side, and the administrative side - and the ideal candidate will be interested in learning and growing in all three areas.
Responsibilities:
Programmatic Side:
You will be responsible for building a client-focused, empowering space where survivors of domestic violence can "shop" with dignity for the clothing and household goods they need.
Fundraising/Community Engagement Side:
You will build relationships with donors who enjoy giving items to The Spring and create a world-class volunteer experience for community members.
Administrative Side:
You will collaborate with the Chief Advancement Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Program Officer, and Chief Executive Officer to ensure our outward-facing program meets the needs of those we serve while being good stewards of agency resources.
Other Responsibilities:
You will work with other program directors to ensure smooth distribution of goods within the agency. This role involves building and team management, including staff and volunteer supervision and coordination.
This position demands strategic thinking, diplomacy, attention to detail, physical effort, and a joyful approach to working with others. It can offer a steppingstone to even greater responsibility in your future
