Senior Healthcare Contract Negotiator

As a Senior Healthcare Contract Negotiator at LogixHealth, you will work closely with the Contract Manager and Director to provide cutting edge solutions that will directly improve the healthcare industry. You’ll contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring your expertise to
negotiate healthcare group contracts with multiple networks, as well as ensuring any new contracts are implemented correctly .
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and 3-5 years of medical billing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Review audits to ensure accurate contract implementation and claims processing
Trouble shoot and resolve contract implementation issues
Identify existing contracts up for renegotiation and o
btain current contracted rates
Determine the effect on revenue projections by analyzing and modeling contracts
Review contracts and applicable provider information based on contract language and notify appropriate teams if changes are needed
Communicate directly with clients when needed and participate in client and payer meetings
Collaborate with Managers to resolve contracting issues
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Responsibility satisfactorily. Required:
3-5 years of third-party billing experience
Ability to comprehend and communicate contract information
Proficiency with MS 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Prior experience in negotiating, monitoring, and implementing provider reimbursement contracts
Ability to resolve payment issues with insurance carriers
Ability to create tables or charts to display contract fees and proposals
