As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Junior Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the Senior Accountant/Controller with month end and year end reconciliations, review AP batches for accuracy, as well as assisting with AR and special projects.

Responsibilities:

The Junior Accountant will assist with bank reconciliations as well as assist and prepare all GL account reconciliations including but not limited to:

  • All balance sheet accounts
  • Review and approving AP invoice coding
  • Maintaining pre-paid schedules
  • Maintain accrual schedules
  • Job budget maintenance
  • Payroll accruals
  • Assist with Datawatch, Admiral and/or Red Coats month-end close
  • Financial reporting and Budgeting
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Accounting including GL and payroll.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as evidenced by preparing reports and preparing and presenting information to clients.
  • General ledgers experience a must-have skill set.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
