Our client, located in Western Michigan, is a leading and growing food services company with a mission to bring top-quality food and beverages to retailers, businesses, and communities around the world. As they continue to expand their footprint, they are looking to develop a dynamic internal recruiting team led by a seasoned and strategic Talent Acquisition professional to manage all of the critical hires.

The ideal candidate will have experience hiring for both corporate and field roles. This leader will be both willing and able to be strategic and tactical, rolling up sleeves to get the work done, as needed. It is important that this professional can design and execute a talent acquisition strategy, manage scalable processes that drive efficiency, and develop and lead recruiting initiatives that will expand the talent pipeline. In addition, this talent acquisition leader will be responsible for professional and executive-level searches.

Responsibilities: Develop and lead the talent acquisition strategy by creating a best-in-class candidate experience that ensures the hiring of top talent and establishes strong working relationships across all teams; identify and communicate key talent gaps and innovative solutions that address those gaps. Improve the effectiveness of all Talent Acquisition programs, including university and veteran recruitment, by utilizing analytical skills and strong business understanding to build data-driven business cases to improve recruitment strategies and improve candidate and hiring manager experience. Incorporate the Diversity & Inclusion strategy into recruiting practices to help attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce. Develop a strong Talent Acquisition process with metrics, tools, technology, competencies, and accountability for results. Identify solutions; align programs, processes, technology, and other tools to optimize the talent capabilities of individual contributors and management. Develop management lifecycle and directly influence the existing and future growth of the organization's talent.

Qualifications/Professional experience & education: Minimum 7-10 years of progressively responsible Talent Management experience. 5 + years of experience managing a team. An innovative mindset, always looking for ways to improve and develop candidate and employee experiences. Extensive experience partnering with leadership to ensure programs connect with and serve the company’s needs. Demonstrates a positive attitude to thrive and succeed in a complex environment.
