Mode : Hybrid This role requires the candidate to be on premises 3 days in a week.

What you'll do:

  • You will design, develop and optimize databases for diverse application workloads.
  • You will be the POC for Installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of DBMS environment including production support.
  • You will manage various OS and database specific upgrades on Windows environment.
  • You will work with Application teams to provide guidance and consultancy for optimization and performance tuning.
  • You will build self-service and automation tools using scripts/programs (ex. powershell) in order to reduce manual processing in providing low-touch offerings
  • You will work closely with Microsoft Engineering and Product support teams to provide feedback as well as new feature requirements as per the firms development needs

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years experience as MS SQL Admin or in a related field.
  • Hands on experience in application architecture review, store procedure, performance reviews.
  • Hands on experience in DB Partition Activities, Datawarehouse Integrations, System Integrations.
  • Hands on experience in Production Issues Support & Troubleshooting.
  • Must have prior experience migrating SQL Servers from on premise to Cloud (AWS specifically a plus)
