About the OpportunityJoin world-class experts in finding answers to our customers toughest questions as our IT Operations Manager. This role is in charge of delivering and supporting all infrastructure, cybersecurity and IT service management as the organization experiences double-digit growth and global expansion. The position will be based in Orlando, Florida.The IT Operations Manager will provide technology leadership in the planning, architecture, deployment, management, and operation of essential IT infrastructure including computing, storage, virtualization, networking, and security. The ideal candidate should bring experience working in infrastructure management including public/private cloud exposure, introducing new technologies and change in a dynamic environment, and managing IT service delivery in a 24/7 operating environment.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will play an instrumental role in:Leading and delivering infrastructure capabilities with focus on user-experience, resilience, performance, availability, security, and total cost of ownershipDirectly managing the data center on premise and cloud-based infrastructure, which includes monitoring and backupResponsible for management, coaching and development of a diverse and distributed team of IT Operations professionals who will build, maintain and support., IT infrastructure and networksPartnering with Halma IT for implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controlsParticipating in the Halma community for IT leaders for sharing of best practicesDesigning and implementing a service desk and service catalog with corresponding SLAsEstablishing polices and processes within the IT operations function to support efficiencyProviding a high level of proactive and mission critical support to security related incidents across the organizationAssessing and driving process and technology roadmaps for IT InfrastructureDeveloping the technology strategy, goals, roadmaps in partnership with the IT leadership team and providing inputs to the annual budgetOverseeing activities relating to the engineering, design, development, implementation, testing and overall technical support to ensure the IT infrastructure services environment meets the business needs of the companyAutomating repetitive tasks to drive efficiencies and document for future reference including scripts, programs, processes and standardsServing as the technical escalation point for network and systems and issues both during business hours and after hours/on-callLeading infrastructure related integration activities for mergers and acquisitionsResponsible for coaching and mentoring team members on complex problem resolutionEvaluating network performance, outages and develops proactive solutions to enhance service delivery and prevent future issuesInvolved in the design and execution of the business continuity planServing as a technical lead on projects and implementations while managing resources effectivelyOverseeing vendors and contracts needed to support systems and deliver servicesResponding to requests for information during assessments and auditsAs a key member of the IT leadership team, the IT Operations Manager will be expected to provide clear and decisive recommendations, challenge assumptions, and advocate for the needs of his/her domain.
