Job Description

: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. If you have a passion for helping others, enjoy an often fast-paced environment, and love being part of a close-knit community, we’d love to hear from you

Positions

Part time & full-time

: someone capable of learning all aspects of the store - hardware, home, garden, and gift. Experience in hardware, especially plumbing a plus

Seasonal

(September to December): someone to gift wrap, greet guests, and work the register.

Availability

:

Flexible schedule preferred, including mornings, evenings, most weekends, and some holidays.

Key Responsibilities

: • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service. • Assist customers in finding what they need on the sales floor. • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately. • Stock shelves, organize inventory, and ensure the store is clean and orderly. • Handle plants and boxes, including lifting and moving items as needed. • Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all customers. • Adapt to various tasks and changes • Stand for extended periods while assisting customers and performing duties. • Foster genuine connections with locals and tourists and assist them with their needs. • Additional tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

: • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor. • Physical ability to lift plants and boxes, stand for long periods, walk up and down stairs. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Adaptability to change and new tasks. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Enthusiasm for connecting with others and providing excellent customer service.
