Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join their team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing financial data, developing and implementing cost control measures, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic guidance to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a proven track record of successfully managing financial operations in a manufacturing plant environment.

Essential Duties

? Oversee and manage all financial activities within the manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data.

? Analyze manufacturing costs, identify areas of improvement, and implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

? Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders.

? Develop and monitor manufacturing plant budgets, forecasting financial trends, and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and engineering, to drive process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.

? Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

? Monitor inventory levels, analyze variances, and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

? Conduct financial analyses and performance evaluations to identify areas of potential risk or opportunity and make recommendations for improvement.

? Provide financial guidance and support to plant management in strategic decision-making processes, such as capital investments, expansion plans, and new product development.

? Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit process and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.

? Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and technological advancements impacting the manufacturing sector.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

? Proven experience as a Plant Controller, Financial Controller, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.

? In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.

? Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems.

? Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

? Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

? Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, fostering strong relationships with various departments within the organization.

? Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

? Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

? Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience in overseeing financial audits.

? Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
