- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Fixed Assets and Capital Projects: Manage and maintain fixed asset schedules and capital project reports to ensure accurate tracking of assets and projects.
- Cash Management: Review cash entries and manage and maintain bank account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Technical Accounting: May assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and narratives to support accounting treatment.
- Year-End Audit: Prepare year-end audit schedules in conjunction with the annual external audit to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders inside and outside the Finance department to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.
- Education and Experience: Several years of progressive full cycle technical accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookups, pivots, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- International Transactions: Experience with international transactions, including foreign exchange transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
The pay rate for this position is $40.00 per hour. The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
