Manage alongside gang, direct and oversee work done in the hold

High School Diploma or equivalent
4-6 months of industry experience preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Subject to physical screening along with other tests as applicable
Expose to all outdoor environmental factors such as extreme heat, rain, wind, cold and high humidity during day and night shifts
Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend forward, squat, twist, pinch and reach overhead
Employee is required to climb 50ft+ vertical ladder
Employee is frequently required to work at heights and in confined spaces
Employee may be required to reach forward, sit, grasp and exercise repetitive foot and wrist motion and finger dexterity. Eye-hand and eye-hand-foot coordination may also be required.
Employee is frequently required to talk and hear
Employee is occasionally required to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Employee works near moving mechanical parts
Employee is continuously exposed to dust, fumes and airborne particles
Employee is exposed to a moderate to high noise level
Ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends, as needed
Responsabilidades:Responsible for safety to all; ensure safety standards are followed
Identify any safety hazards and inform leader as appropriate
Responsible for loading and unloading hold in the ship as directed by the Superintendent and Walking Foreman
Manage Longshore Workers and ensure production and safety are at standards set by Gulf Stream Marine
Ensure stowage is performed as per Port Captain and/or Superintendent
Assist Longshore Workers as needed (heavy equipment operation, blocking and chalking etc.)
Perform other related duties as assigned
Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
