**Delivery Lead**

South Melbourne, Victoria / IT & Engineering Software Engineering / Full Time Were looking for an experienced and outcome driven **Delivery Lead** to help scale and lead our local team of full-stack and cross-functional developers, designers and analysts in producing modern web applications across the e-commerce experience. This will be a foundational role - an opportunity to enable a high performing engineering team to continue to excel, improving the software delivery process from requirements through to production operations. is a pioneer of Australian eCommerce. **The Role**

**In this leadership role you will be:** - Taking ownership of the entire software delivery life cycle - from idea/issue to production across our core ecommerce platforms and other digital products - Implementing a strong focus of continuous improvement by identifying systematic issues and bottlenecks in process and implementing corrective actions, structures and processes to build and maintain a high performing team and workflow - Coaching the engineering team to break down initiatives into valuable and independently deliverable slices, ensuring we are delivering working software to our customers daily - Facilitating and improving the Company stakeholder and technology team ways of working through running workshops, showcases and sharing progress of initiatives - Accountable for the progress performance of the software development teams projects - timelines and scope - as well as the products and solutions the team build Obsessed with seeing quality software being made available to our customers regularly, not only will you enable the team to get things live, you will know the product youre building like the back of your hand - Contributing positively to the culture of our team, building engagement and morale, identifying opportunities of synergy between our local and distributed teams

**The skills were looking for:** - Proven success and experience in agile software delivery where your team was releasing changes to production at least fortnightly. Experience on a Product team is a bonus but consultants looking to work on the product side are equally welcome - Developed leadership, organisation and workflow optimisation, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills - Ability to understand how web technologies and other systems interact and clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
