We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our innovative team. In this crucial role, you will shape and implement our HR strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and support our rapid growth. Your efforts will directly influence employee development and drive our operational goals.

Role Overview:

As the Director of HR, you will collaborate closely with our leadership team to develop and implement best practices, HR strategies, policies, and new initiatives that align with their vision. Your efforts will ensure efficient operations across various departments, enhancing our ability to innovate and deliver cutting-edge propulsion solutions critical to national security.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

Work with senior management to align HR and operational strategies with overall business goals.

Process Improvement:

Coordinate with team leads to streamline processes and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

Talent Acquisition:

Manage the talent acquisition process to ensure timely hiring of the right people.

HR Strategy:

Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business strategy.

HR Functions:

Oversee and manage HR functions including onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, and development.

Employee Relations:

Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

Culture Building:

Partner with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive company culture.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

HR Monitoring:

Monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Over 7 years of progressive experience in human resources management and operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and operationalize complex personnel needs and objectives.

In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.

Experience in a growth-stage technology company.

Proven experience in a high-growth startup environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Strategic thinker with a strong track record of executing strategies effectively.
