The Transport Agent will be directly under the supervision and direction of The Packaging Manager, Operations Inventory Manager and Director of Post Harvest. Will work alone and with other transport specialist (or licensees) to ensure products are delivered timely, professionally and in a way that reflects positively upon our company. Must ensure all tasks are being performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current transportation SOP's. Must be able to work flexible schedules as needed (including evenings and weekends)
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading and unloading products for Grow and Processing into transport vehicle for
  • Maintain security of materials and products while conducting duty and representing the
  • Trustworthy as cash pickups will be required at times. Fill in Cash Receipt
  • Receive signed manifests of all products as well as rejected products keeping them safe and returning them to their designated license before end of
  • Must always follow safe driving
  • Ability to drive in city and rural conditions as we are a statewide
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet delivery deadlines established by the
  • Must maintain a clean appearance and have the ability to keep designated vehicles
  • Complete drive logs and
  • Inspect and operate delivery vehicles. Ensure maintenance is
  • Work within other departments as directed when not in a direct transportation
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 25+ years of age, be able to qualify as a registered grower/processing agent with the Commission and may not have any violent or drug related felony.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive for long durations as we supply statewide. Basic vehicle knowledge as you will be operating alone at times.
  • Must have and maintain a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company, so employee is insured to drive company.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Friendly demeanor and positive attitude regardless of circumstance as you are a representative of the company.

**All positions require the ability to pass background check and drug test as required by Maryland law. Must be 21 years or older**
