Our client, a global e-Commerce company in San Francisco, is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their collectibles team for a long-term contract. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our marketing efforts within this niche market. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns tailored specifically to engage and excite collectors. Additionally, you will contribute to event support and partnership initiatives, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the collectibles industry. This is a 40-hour/week contract position that requires 3-days/week onsite in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns targeting collectors, leveraging various channels such as social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and creative to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and KPIs to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and conventions related to collectibles, including booth setup, staffing, and promotional materials.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key partners and influencers within the collectibles community to amplify brand visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in our marketing approach.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral, including product catalogs, brochures, and promotional materials, tailored to the needs and preferences of collectors.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the collectibles or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging content creation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of collectibles market trends, consumer behavior, and enthusiast communities is a plus.
  • The ability to travel to events nationally, as needed.
