This role is responsible for providing procedural and technical support to RGA’s Underwriters and Data Administration teams under the HK/HNW business. The role requires a deep understanding of the key risk management principles of the business; in particular, underwriting outcomes and controls. Furthermore, working with the Underwriting and Data Administration leadership to provide regular reporting and analytics that support the team’s goals internally and externally. RGA’s systems and methodology are continually evolving to meet the demands of its rapidly growing business. Accordingly, some of the incumbent’s specific job duties will change over time but will remain related to the support of the Underwriting team. Responsibilities

Core services: UW Case handling in accordance with RGA standards, philosophy, and guidelines. Ensure that the decisions are best in class, satisfy client expectations and service turn around times Provide on-site underwriting support for cases when necessary Render prompt, efficient and courteous services to clients and ensure timely and quality service standards are met Manage best in class and timely response for client queries related to any underwriting processes, risk selection, enhancements Assist in client meetings, trainings, audits, and other events with internal or external clients and prepare materials, presentations, data analytics for these meetings Train the Underwriting administration team and collaborate with underwriters / data administration team for maintaining the various reporting requirements for the underwriting team, generating timely and efficient internal / external reports Develop and maintain documentation related to underwriting administration processes, procedures and user guides, share point site, assist in development of underwriting and operational manual and continuous upgradation for intelligent and quick MIS Participate and support in system development, UAT and supporting implementation of underwriting system in HK Participate in development of any internal workflow systems, digital tools for efficiency within RGA underwriting function Support claims team for providing appropriate and timely re-underwriting support within agreed turnaround times and expectations Participate and provide support as required for both internal peer reviews and external quality assurance reviews Participate in planning and execution of training programmes for RGA Assist in managing GUM access, training and query handling for RGA HK clients Business Development Support any assigned work for to provide inputs for product design, policy provisions, treaties, business development proposals and underwriting guidelines, initiatives, campaigns and related requests in a timely manner in order to help develop business Support manager in regular assessment of RGA’s Uw guidelines, market benchmarks to proactively find opportunities for offering risk prudent but suitable underwriting enhancements for clients Others Develop versatile skills by participate in Digital UW, product underwriting, data analytic and other projects Other duties as may be assigned by the manager from time to time Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in case underwriting Good knowledge of insurance medical practices, trends and research and the ability to apply and communicate this knowledge to underwriters and management Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese Good communication and presentation skills Candidate with more experience will be considered for Associate Director level Company Overview
