As the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead demand planning, scheduling, warehousing and delivery operations for one of Plastipak's largest manufacturing sites. Partnering with carriers, vendors and customers, your team will contribute to Plastipak's ranking as an industry leader in the design and manufacture of rigid plastic containers.
You Will:
Manage a team of 40+ associates to achieve best possible outcomes for customers; including oversight of complete and on-time delivery, minimal days on hand, logistics and warehouse costs, inventory accuracy and shrinkage.
Maintain the Finished Goods Management Program, providing for the movement and storage of finished goods.
Strategically plan productions schedules and line utilization to ensure production schedules meet forecasts, business demand plans and deadlines.
Review and revise product Mater Data for planning, scheduling and warehousing.
Perform monthly cycles of Supply Network Planning, publishing results to the leadership team.
Maintain communication with internal colleagues, customers and carriers.
Uphold and contribute to our positive work environment where safety, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience leading supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing relationships with high-profile customers and vendors.
ERP system proficiency; SAP preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with peers, management, and vendor representatives.
