Make an impact
As HR Manager joining Bridge Senior Living, you will partner with leadership and management teams as well as the wider organization's HR function to manage the full scope of employee programs and processes across the organization. This is a strategic, hands-on role that will lead a small team of HR professionals in support of business objectives and overall success.
Responsibilities:
- You will partner with the Bridge Senior Living leadership team and the wider organization's HR Leaders to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- You will take a strategic view to create and execute on key initiatives and methodically measures performance toward goals, such as performance management, recruitment/hiring and retention.
- Partners with and manages the relationship with the PEO (Paychex) for payroll, and employment processes.
- Provide support and guidance on employee communications across the vertical.
- Provides support and guidance to management when complex, specialized, and sensitive HR questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive changes to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Coordinates with training and development to create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Coordinates with Paychex to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- A minimum of five years of human resource management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
- Prove experience developing, leading, and implementing HR strategy across a large footprint, high-head organization.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proven experience working with leadership teams as an advisor, influencer, and SME.
- Experience working with community-driven sites such as senior living or hospitality is highly desired.
- Demonstrable people management experience.
